This is it!!! My first P-day!
This week has been a rollarcoaster, full of ups and a lot of downs, mainly due to the language, it´s hard, but I knew it would be. The days are long, over 10 hours a day studying the language and studying the gospel.
RIght now I am in Trio with Sister Stevenson and Sister Strobelt, both going to difrferent missions than me. The MTC is great, the Brazilians are so friendly, everytime someone walks by missionaries they always say hi and ask how you are doing. They are so friendly and so willing to help with the language.
Mission life is going strong, I love serving the Lord and being able to learn how to help others find happiness thorugh him. My District is super cool, whenever we are stressed over the language they always find a way to bring up a joke so we can all relax. We are a very strong group of people, everyone has a very strong testimony and love the Gospel so much it is amazing to be included with them.
Elder Holland came on Monday to give a devotional, which was AMAZING. So insprational and so perfect, he kept telling us how proud he was of our decision to serve and how we are often treated as perfect beings by some members so expectations are high, but not to conform and be you. I will end this with a quote, kinda summerized cause I didn´t bring my journal of notes.
I want my life to be like my shoes, worn out in the work of the Lord.
Wishing you the best,
